Rebecca Jarman is a Fine Art student in her final year at the University of Lincoln. In her practice she usually takes an analytic approach, involving scientific and research elements. She then translates that into a visual medium and gives it an artistic resonance.
Creating something visual tends to be the strongest, for her, when it is either in a sculptural or installation form however she has also explored incorporating digital elements into her work. Giving ideas, data, and theories a visual language helps engage them with wider audiences and gives art a role in socio-cultural life. Jarman’s artistic process usually begins with research into ideas and concepts that she feels are particularly pertinent or need to be given a more public platform.
For Creative Reactions 2021, artist Rebecca Jarman worked with researcher Dr Bino Majolo.
